Retiree medical accounts are still a relatively new concept in the world of retirement savings and workplace savings plans, and you may need more background before you are ready to enroll in your institution's Emeriti^® Plan.

Plan

Estimate the savings required to cover your retiree health care costs. Use the Retirement Health Care Cost Calculator to see an updated estimate of how much you (and your spouse) may need to have saved to cover your health care costs in retirement.

Review health plan premium costs. Use the Emeriti Health Insurance Plan Option Rate Guide to see what your health plan premiums may be when you retire and enroll in an Emeriti Health Insurance Plan Option.

Review your Emeriti enrollment kit. If you have not received an Emeriti enrollment kit, contact your institution's benefits office or call 1-866-EMERITI to request that one be mailed. The enrollment kit contains information on how the Program works, how to enroll, how to select investment choices for your contributions, and much more.

Enroll in the Emeriti Program. If you have the information you need to start actively participating in the Emeriti Program, call 1-866-EMERITI (1-866-363-7484) to enroll.
