Learn more about the Emeriti Health Insurance Plan Options. These are the unique health insurance plan options offered by Aetna (or HealthPartners for Minnesota institutions and their Minnesota-resident retirees) specifically for Emeriti participants. Choose your investment option. Decide which of the Fidelity Freedom Funds is most appropriate for investing your Emeriti contributions. Get more information about the Emeriti investment choices, or call 1-866-EMERITI (1-866-363-7484) to speak with an Emeriti Specialist at Fidelity if you need assistance making an investment choice.

Consider making voluntary contributions. You may be able to make voluntary contributions into a Health Account if your employer elects to allow this type of contribution. If these voluntary contributions are available to you, you will need to decide what after-tax amount out of each paycheck you wish to defer into your Emeriti Health Account. You can estimate how much you may need in retirement to cover your medical expenses by using the Retirement Health Care Cost Calculator; this will help you decide how much you may want to contribute to your Health Account.

Determine your eligible dependents. You will need to name your eligible dependents who may have access to your Emeriti Health Accounts after your retirement or after your death, if they continue to qualify. For more information about who qualfies as an eligible dependent, click here.

Calculate your Emeriti Health Insurance Plan Options premium rates, which may be helpful in determining how you will use the accumulated funds in your Health Accounts.
